Justin’s article, ‘Adjudication: Beware ambush or smash and grab’, looks at the threat that authorities have faced from contractors who have learnt how to exploit the payment provisions in the Construction Act . Justin outlines the immediate threat posed by “smash and grab” adjudications and how to defend them. He also advises on how best to avoid such adjudications from arising.
